The Ministry of Planning, Lands,  Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure (PLAHI) advises the public that the demolition phase of the Morgan’s Harbour Dock Project commenced on 5 December 2025. As part of these works, silt screens have been installed along the waterfront to safeguard the marine environment.

Boaters are strongly encouraged to exercise caution when launching or retrieving vessels in the area. Please navigate carefully, particularly near the silt screen alignment, to prevent damage to the environmental protection measures in place.

Construction activity will pause over the Christmas and New Year period and will resume in January 2026.

The Ministry thanks the public for their cooperation and understanding as we work to deliver these important upgrades to the Morgan’s Harbour waterfront.
