GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman – 10 December 2025 – The Ministry of Planning, Lands, Agriculture, Housing & Infrastructure (PLAHI) is pleased to announce an enhanced road safety partnership between the National Road Safety Committee (NRSC) and the National Drug Council (NDC) through its long-standing Arrive Alive 345 (AA345) campaign. This collaboration brings together multiple agencies—including the NDC, Compass Media, the Ministry of Health & Wellness, NRSC representatives, and private transport providers—under a unified mission to promote responsible road use during the holiday season and into the new year.

The NRSC, operating under the Ministry of PLAHI, leads national behavior-change messaging through its “Be Smart. Be Alive.” campaign. The NDC, through AA345 campaign, provides safe, free New Year’s Eve transportation aimed to reduce impaired driving and encourage responsible choices. Together, these organizations are aligning messaging, coordinating outreach, and expanding public awareness leading up to New Year’s Eve.

This year’s AA345 campaign includes its traditional main-route service, along with a pilot expansion into inner communities such as Newlands, Birch Tree Hill and Windsor Park Rd (the official map can be found on ndc.ky/arrive-alive-345-2025/<https://ndc.ky/arrive-alive-345-2025/>)—improving access to safe transportation options for more residents.

This holiday season, plan ahead, make responsible choices, and remember: Be Alive. Arrive Alive 345.”

As AA345 enters its 25th year, the Ministry, NRSC and NDC are urging the public to pay close attention to all road-safety messaging being shared across Cayman during the Christmas and New Year period. Residents will see increased reminders across roadside signage, social media, news outlets, WhatsApp updates, and community channels. We encourage everyone to:

 Plan ahead and choose a sober option—whether that means riding the AA345 bus, choosing a designated driver, or arranging transport.

 Familiarize yourself with the AA345 bus routes and times to ensure safe travel on New Year’s Eve.

 Circulate route information within families, workplaces, churches, and friend groups to help ensure no one drives impaired.
