Shortly after 6:30 PM on Thursday, 11 December, officers responded to a report of an attempted robbery at an address on Bodden Town Road. It was reported that a delivery driver had arrived outside of a residence when he was approached by a man unknown to him who made threats and demanded cash. The homeowner exited the residence and confronted the man, who then left the location. No one was injured during the incident.

Shortly afterwards, officers from Operation Winter Guardian located a man fitting the description of the suspect. He was detained, and a search of his person was conducted, where suspected cocaine and a drug utensil were found. The man, age 23, residing in Bodden Town, was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and drug offences.

The matter is under investigation.
