Cayman Male Voice Choir were in Good Voice on Good Friday
By Joan Wilson
The Cayman Male Voice Choir performed their annual Good Friday Easter Gospel Concert with Cantata.
Sadly, the venue, Elmslie United Memorial Church, wasn’t full as it should have been.
I was also surprised that the usual number of microphones were not on hand and it was embarrassing to have the quartet crowed around one tiny microphone.
However, as a whole it did not detract from a most blessed and sacred concert.
The young and talented singer, Aidan Connolly gave a very powerful solo performance and this was not his first appearance with his elders. I look forward to him performing again with them.
And to top the whole evening off was the solo from the golden voice of Rudy Myles.
The Choir Director was Ernest Bodden, accompanying the choir were pianist, Marjane Ebanks-Fellows, and organist, Denver Bloomfield.
The Master of Ceremonies was Pastor John Macmillan.
