The Cayman Islands National Weather Service wishes to inform the public that the Kearney Gomez Doppler Radar is temporarily out of service due to technical issues. The radar manufacturer has been notified and is working closely with our technicians to restore full functionality soonest. In the interim the Weather Service continues to utilise a range of reliable tools, including advance weather predictions models and satellites images to provide accurate forecast and timely weather information for the Cayman Islands. Acting Director, Mr. Powery, assures the public that while one tool is currently offline, the Weather Service remains vigilant, capable, and committed to delivering essential weather updates.
