Cayman: Holding Statement: Alleged Weapon at Clifton Hunter High School

The Ministry of Education & Training (MoET) and the Department of Education Services (DES) received a report today concerning a student alleged to have been in possession of a weapon at Clifton Hunter High School.

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) was immediately called to investigate. Following their initial inquiries, no weapon was found; however, further investigations are ongoing.

School will proceed as normal tomorrow, Friday, 26 September, with enhanced security measures, including additional security officers and increased
