Captive Insurance Leaders Gather in Grand Cayman for Sold-Out 2025 Forum

Michael Wild

Grand Cayman, November 5, 2025 – The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) concluded the 2025 Cayman Captive Forum on December 4, following three days of industry sessions, regulatory updates and networking at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. The event reached full capacity again this year, with more than 1,500 registered delegates.

Regarded as the world’s largest captive insurance conference, the Forum drew captive owners, service providers, regulators and other sector participants. This year’s programme focused on developments in risk management, regulatory trends, market conditions and emerging innovations.

Keynote speakers Chris Lemons and Rashmi Airan addressed delegates on leadership, resilience and ethical decision-making. The agenda also included panel discussions, technical briefings and case-study sessions led by practitioners and regulators.

The Forum closed with a highly anticipated reception on Seven Mile Beach, following a week of networking events, meetings and exhibitions.

“The Forum continues to provide a platform for substantive discussion on issues affecting captive insurance,” said Michael Wild, Chair of the Cayman Captive Forum Committee. “On behalf of the Forum Committee and IMAC, I want to thank all attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and media partners for contributing to another outstanding year. The energy, engagement and collaboration we witnessed last week truly reflect the strength and growth of Cayman’s captive insurance community.”

IMAC will share highlights and session takeaways on its social media channels in the coming weeks.

The Cayman Captive Forum is scheduled to return December 1–3, 2026, at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
