Appointment of Graham Hampson as Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission

Her Excellency the Governor, Jane Owen, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Graham Hampson as Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). His appointment is effective from 25 February 2026 for a three-year term.

In welcoming the new Chairman, Her Excellency added:

“Mr. Hampson brings extensive experience and a deep commitment to public service. His leadership will be instrumental as the Commission continues to advance its important work and strengthen the culture of integrity that supports good governance across the Cayman Islands.”

Mr. Hampson brings a wealth of experience as a former Barrister with significant experience in criminal work. Mr. Hampson was called to the Cayman Islands Bar in January 1987 and has 35 years plus of experience specifically in the Cayman Islands. From the outset of his career in the Cayman Islands, Graham developed a wide-ranging litigation based practice. His experience includes appearances before all levels of courts and tribunals in the Cayman Islands, including some matters that proceeded to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in London, the ultimate appellate body for the Cayman Islands. His leadership is expected to further strengthen the Commission’s efforts.
