“Name This” Book Club

Delirium_Mar 6 Books & Books Asks Teens to Help Name New Young Adult Book Club

Books & Books is launching a new book club for teens ages 14-18.

The “Name This” Book Club will focus on popular young adult series, starting with Lauren Oliver’s bestselling trilogy – Delirium, Pandemonium and the soon to be released Requiem.

As the temporary title suggests, the Camana Bay bookstore is encouraging the teens themselves to get creative and name their new club. Suggestions can be submitted at the store or emailed to manager Megan McCluskey at [email protected]. The person who comes up with the winning name will receive a copy of Requiem.

Pandemonium_Apr 3The group will gather at Books & Books on the first Wednesday of every month from 7-8:30pm. Join them on Wednesday 6 March to discuss Delirium.

About the Book

Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing.

They didn’t understand that once love –the deliria—blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the government demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.

But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love.

Delirium and Pandemonium are now available at Books & Books and Requiem is set to hit shelves on March 1.
