Just after 4am today, 1 March, police responded to Mary Street where it was reported that there was a robbery at a convenience store.

It was reported that a masked man entered the establishment brandishing a gun and demanded cash. Having stolen a quantity of cash, he fled the location, heading in the direction of Shedden Road.

There were no reports of shots being fired or injuries made to the police resulting from this incident.
