Concacaf Unveils New Anthem “Unity and Glory” composed by Eduardo Marturet on March 8

Miami, FL (Wednesday, February 25, 2026) — Concacaf today announced the official debut of its newly commissioned anthem, “Unity and Glory”, composed by Maestro Eduardo Marturet, which will premiere live with the Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO) at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in Knight Concert Hall.
Developed in partnership with the Miami Symphony Orchestra, the anthem was created to serve as a ceremonial musical identity for Concacaf and to reflect the unity, ambition, and pride shared across the Confederation’s 41 Member Associations.
Concacaf’s decision to commission a new anthem reflects the Confederation’s continued evolution and growth over the past 10 years, as football across North, Central America, and the Caribbean has reached unprecedented levels of visibility and global relevance. “Unity and Glory” was conceived as a contemporary musical statement — one that captures the spirit, diversity, and shared values of the region while creating a unified sonic identity for the organization’s most important sporting moments.
“Over the last decade, Concacaf has evolved with a clear identity and shared pillars that unite our region,” said Victor Montagliani, Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President. “Unity and Glory is the sound of that progress. It is a tribute to our One Concacaf family and to what our Member Associations and their national teams and clubs pursue every time they step onto the pitch, representing their communities with pride.”

A Partnership Born in Miami
The collaboration between Concacaf, Miami Symphony Orchestra, and its Music Director Maestro Eduardo Marturet, emerged naturally through a shared presence in the City of Miami — a global crossroads where cultures, languages, and artistic expressions converge. Both organizations, headquartered in Miami, recognized the opportunity to unite sport and symphonic music through a project that celebrates regional identity while showcasing artistic excellence on an international stage.
The world premiere will take place during the Miami Symphony Orchestra’s American Promise program, which also features contemporary works and a symphonic classic, offering audiences a powerful evening of music and meaning at one of South Florida’s premier cultural venues.
“The creation of Unity and Glory was inspired by the idea that music, like football, transcends borders and speaks directly to the collective spirit of people,” said Maestro Eduardo Marturet. “My goal was to compose something ceremonial yet emotionally uplifting — a piece that reflects pride, aspiration, and the diversity that defines our region. The collaboration between Concacaf and the Miami Symphony Orchestra is a celebration of Miami as a cultural bridge, where global ideas come together through artistry.”
The anthem was developed through close collaboration between Concacaf leadership and Maestro Marturet, blending cinematic orchestration with ceremonial themes designed for live stadium presentation. The composition highlights the talents behind its creation, underscoring the importance of artistic craftsmanship in shaping a lasting musical identity.
An Anthem for the Biggest Moments in Concacaf Football
The debut comes as the region builds toward this summer’s FIFA World Cup, when the eyes of the global game will turn to North America, spotlighting the ambition that defines football in Concacaf.
As men’s and women’s national teams and clubs compete for continental glory, “Unity and Glory” will accompany the most meaningful moments on an international stage, delivering a renewed sound that reflects the passion and spirit of the region’s game.
The March 8 concert will welcome a distinguished audience, including celebrities, community leaders, and local authorities, celebrating the intersection of culture, sport, and civic pride. The event reinforces Miami’s growing role as an international hub for both world-class sports and artistic innovation.
