Update- Further to CBC’s earlier release regarding the escape of two Cuban migrants from the Immigration Detention Centre at Fairbanks on 7 February 2026, the Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control Service (CBC) confirms that the second individual was apprehended earlier today, 20 February 2026, by CBC officers.
