SYNOPSIS

Moderate north to northwest winds and moderate seas are forecasted overnight, becoming moderate to fresh later as the pressure gradient tightens across the region. An unusually strong cold front is forecasted to move into the northwestern Caribbean on Saturday morning and merge with a surface trough by Saturday evening. Strong to near-gale northerly winds and rough seas are expected in the Cayman area in the wake of the passage of this front. A Small Craft Advisory will be in place for tonight.
