London, United Kingdom, 23 January 2026: Following the What Car? Car of the Year Awards 2026, Genesis is pleased to announce that GV60 has been awarded ‘Best Interior’ in the ‘Premium Electric EV’ category. 

The win marks the third award bestowed to GV60 by What Car? after taking home ‘Best Electric SUV’ in the What Car? Car of the Year Awards 2023, swiftly followed by another win for ‘Best Electric SUV’ at the Electric Car of the Year awards in the same year.

Steve Huntingford, Editor at What Car?, commented: “Pretty much every surface in the Genesis GV60 is covered in pleasing, soft-touch materials. Meanwhile, if you specify the optional Nappa Leather with Quilting, it feels even more luxurious. Towards the end of 2025, GV60 received a suite of sophisticated mid-cycle design enhancements throughout, further elevating the already well-acclaimed model. The redesigned, high-tech cockpit gained a new 27-inch connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC), which merged the infotainment and driver information systems across a large panoramic screen, creating a seamless, intuitive display. A new three-spoke heated steering wheel features across all specifications, with Hands-On Detection for an additional level of safety while on the road. In addition, a suite of new entertainment services were made available including Disney+, Netflix and Bloomberg Media.
