Cloudy skies with periods of showers remain likely through today, especially towards the Sister Islands as a stationary front and prefrontal trough linger across the northwest Caribbean. A gradual decrease in showers are expected through Wednesday as this front begins to slowly dissipate and the associated trough drifts towards the Bay of Honduras. Fresh to locally strong winds with rough seas follow this front and will quickly build bringing some northern and westerly swells from later today.
