It’s giving hope

By Joanna Ewart-James, Freedom United

In this season of giving, we’re giving thanks for you. Around the world, governments are quietly stepping back from their commitments to combat trafficking—cutting funds, shuttering programs, and weakening protections. But you continue to hold the line and that makes all the difference.

That’s why we’d love to celebrate with you on Giving Tuesday, COLIN. Let’s reconnect with one another, share stories and have some fun!

What: The Audacity of Hope
Where: Online
When:
Giving Tuesday, Dec 2 at 12pm ET (5pm GMT, 6pm CET)

Cost: $5 USD

Celebrate hope with us

We’re holding space to reflect, share, reconnect with one another and blow off some steam after a challenging year.

We’ve lined up live trivia, music, moments to connect directly with members of the team and, a session on how we secure change together. Buy a raffle ticket for the chance to win Freedom United gear and exciting prizes!

Everything we’ve built this year is thanks to the Freedom Community and people like you, COLIN. It made bold, ambitious progress possible, including protections for migrant workers in California and new child marriage bans in Maine, Oregon, and Missouri—at a time when the world made that feel harder than ever.

Right now, community donations make up about a third of our income—a vital source of strength that keeps our work going and helps us stay independent.

But, like far too many in this space, we’ve been navigating a year where financial support is harder to come by and the work has only grown more urgent

Your ticket directly supports the work needed right now: pushing governments to put human rights before profits, holding corporations accountable, and resisting the systems that allow modern slavery to flourish.

Don’t miss out!

So come along and let’s share a moment as we gather our strength for the year ahead.
I can’t wait to see you there!
In solidarity,Joanna and the team supporting the Freedom United community.
