From RCIPS

Following an extensive search effort in Cayman Brac by the CICG and the RCIPS, along with the joint partners that formed the NEOC group, today, a collective decision was made to stand down on the basis that there were no findings to support the reports that were made, neither on sea nor by air. 

A police investigation into the report made will continue a s should new information be discovered that warrants the search to resume then the decision will be made as needed.
