From Water Authority-Cayman

The Water Authority is closely monitoring the track of Tropical Storm Melissa and preparing to take action if needed. 

The Authority would also like to encourage customers to take this time to make their own preparations. Storm preparedness recommendations can be found at www.caymanprepared.gov.ky as well as the water and sewage specific tips on our website at www.waterauthority.ky.

Customers are also strongly encouraged to store water before the storm. Have at least a 3-day supply of water, that is 1 gallon per person, per day. Store water for both drinking and non-drinking purposes. If you have vulnerable people in your household, such as the elderly or pregnant women, be sure to store more water. Also, don’t forget to store water for your pets. Don’t wait until a storm approaches to stock up on water, take the time now to store before the storm.
