Miami, FL (Tuesday, August 19, 2025) – GGTech and Concacaf are deepening their partnership following the successful launch of the innovative Concacaf Kick-Off project, a digital entertainment and gaming platform that blends football with interactive experiences. This three-year collaboration positions both organizations at the forefront of digital entertainment, engaging a generation captivated by gaming and esports.

Statistics highlight the strong enthusiasm for gaming among young audiences: about 90% of Gen Z and 94% of Gen Alpha identify as enthusiasts, and 86% of Gen Z watch esports. These trends have inspired GGTech and Concacaf to create experiences that merge football with digital content, resonating with a visually driven and connected audience.

“At Concacaf, we are committed to innovation and the growth of football, and our partnership with GGTech is a clear example of that,” said Philippe Moggio, General Secretary of Concacaf. “With Concacaf Kick-Off, we aim to connect with young people through digital experiences that reflect their interests. Football must evolve to create opportunities for everyone to engage, enjoy, and develop a passion for the sport, ensuring its future and keeping it at the heart of every generation.”

Brands and audiences are increasingly embracing in-person events. Juan Diego García, CEO of GGTech Entertainment Americas, noted, “New audiences consume entertainment differently. GAMERGY, the world’s largest festival of esports, gaming, music, sports, and immersive entertainment, now serves as a hub for Gen Z’s entertainment culture. Authenticity, connection, and engagement in young audiences’ communities are key. Together with Concacaf Kick-Off, we aim to bring one of the world’s leading football organizations to new audiences in line with evolving entertainment trends.”

GGTech remains committed to innovation and delivering international experiences that integrate digital cultures worldwide. This strategic alliance with Concacaf represents a milestone in the convergence of football and gaming, ushering in a new era where technology and sport combine to create unforgettable experiences for current and future generations. In the coming months, GGTech and Concacaf will share more details on events and opportunities for players and fans in Mexico and across the region.
