By Popular Demand Usher Announces New Dates for Headlining Residency
Global megastar and eight-time GRAMMY Award-winner Usher has announced 25 new dates from March through July 2023 for his Las Vegas residency, which has sold-out all shows to date and is on track to sell out all 25 of the 2022 dates. The 25 new shows going on sale are: March 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 15, 17, 18; April 14, 15, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28, 29; June 28; and July 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 12, 14, and 15. Ocean Prime Las Vegas Scheduled to Open Spring 2023
Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ (CMR) Ocean Prime brand is pleased to announce its first Las Vegas restaurant and 18th location, which will be the anchor restaurant in 63. CMR plans to invest nearly $20 million into this flagship location, centered at the bustling and iconic corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue. New York-New York Hotel & Casino Launches $63 Million Guest Room Remodel
In August, New York-New York launched a $63 million room remodel project of its 1,830 rooms and 155 of its suites. When completed in the summer of 2023, the accommodations will feature vibrant new designs and upgraded in-room amenities that will appeal to travelers from around the world. Crafted by hospitality design firm HVS Design in partnership with MGM Resorts International Design Group, the design aesthetic draws inspiration from the energy and excitement of two of the world’s great cities — Las Vegas and New York City. The remodel features design details that harken to New York City, such as rooms with exposed faux brick walls and accent colors such as Big Apple Red and Taxicab Yellow. These elements subtly bring the ‘City that Never Sleeps’ to life in the Entertainment Capital of the World. Iconic Ghostbar Opens High atop Palms Casino Resort Las Vegas

Yesco Installs Two Brand-New 50-Foot Showgirls for City of Las Vegas
YESCO, the 102-year-old company known for creating, repairing and maintaining internationally recognizable signs, and the city of Las Vegas announce the installation and official lighting of two brand-new, 50-foot-tall showgirls on the corner of Main Street and Las Vegas Boulevard. These new showgirl signs are double the height of the prior showgirl icons installed in 2018, which each stood 25-feet tall. The showgirls lit up for the first time on Aug. 31 at dusk. The previously installed, 25-foot-tall showgirl signs are currently undergoing refurbishment due to weather damage. Las Vegas Aviators® Announce 2023 Regular Season Schedule
The Las Vegas Aviators® professional baseball team of the Pacific Coast League, Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, today announced its 2023 regular season schedule in the franchises 40th anniversary season (1983 – present). The Aviators schedule will feature a total of 150 games with 75 away games and 75 home games at Las Vegas Ballpark®. The Las Vegas Aviators will open the 2023 campaign in Northern Nevada against intrastate rival, the Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, in a three-game series from Friday, March 31- Sunday, April 2.
