Update (13 November):

The man, age 27 of East End, who was arrested following the recovery of a firearm and ammunition in George Town on Wednesday, 10 November, has now been formally charged with Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm, Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm (Ammunition), and Intentional Harassment Alarm or Distress. He appeared in court yesterday, 12 November and was subsequently granted bail with strict conditions, pending a further appearance on 16 November.

Initial Release (11 November):

Yesterday, Wednesday, 10 November, officers had cause to search of a residence in George Town. The search was conducted by RCIPS detectives and firearms officers, with the assistance of the K-9 Unit. During the search a handgun was recovered, along with ammunition. A man age, 27 of East End, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
