Transparent Face Mask
A Transparent Face Mask That Attaches to Your Eyeglasses
By Rain Noe From Core77
This is Safety Theater, and it looks difficult to install as well
Here’s an interesting concept, but I can’t say it qualifies beyond Safety Theater. The Glasses Mask, a Japanese product, is a sheet of transparent PET that attaches to your eyeglasses and supposedly serves as a face mask.
Looking at the instructions for just one of the installation options (there are three total), I am not confident that the average consumer would get this right:
Beyond the difficulty of installation, I just don’t see what benefit the mask offers; it has some of the protection of a face shield, but the obvious gaps around the face make this seem like a poor choice for a face mask.
