Former Intel Solution Architect, Punitha Sinnapan, joins Cubic Telecom Leadership Team

Global software and technology provider, Cubic Telecom has expanded its innovation and leadership team with the appointment of Punitha Sinnapanas the new Vice President of Automotive Design and Innovation.

Effective from July 6th, Punitha enters a newly created role to support Cubic’s growth agenda, building a strong automotive pipeline across its innovation horizons. The role will see her work closely alongside internal and external stakeholders on all product opportunities.

Punitha joins Cubic Telecom from American multinational corporation and technology company Intel, where she worked as Automotive Solution Architect for the past 12 years. Punitha has over 17 years of industrial experience in software and system architecture and design, and vast experience in such areas as in-vehicle compute, ADAS, autonomous driving, high-performance computing architecture and project and customer management. She is perfectly positioned to elevate Cubic’s innovation functions and help offer customers in the automotive sector new software and analytics solutions, leveraging Cubic’s 5G, LTE, VoLTE and Satellite technologies.

As an optimistic thinker and visionary with strong initiative who, in her own words, can quickly grasp the “big picture,” Punitha thrives in challenging environments and is experienced in problem-solving and critical projects. She has shown in the past that she can not only identify opportunities but develop them into world-class, innovative and customised solutions on a global level.

“We are delighted to have Punitha join the team at Cubic; her expansive technical knowledge and experience will help us develop, support and offer new innovative solutions for our customers in the automotive industry. As a leading expert and leader in the technology and automotive field, she is also a role model for females around the world who want to grow and support this sector,” said CEO and Executive Chairman of Cubic, Barry Napier.

“I am very proud to join Cubic and cannot wait to start working with the team and stakeholders around the world, exploring new opportunities across the business,” said Punitha. “The automotive industry is rapidly developing and introducing new solutions that can revolutionise businesses and their products, so I am looking forward to bringing my experience into an innovative business sector and helping grow Cubic’s offerings.”

Punitha has relocated with her family to Ireland, and will be based within Cubic Telecom’s Dublin headquarters once her 14 day period of self-isolation is complete in line with the Irish government’s COVID-19 quarantine requirements.
