Cayman: National Museum Closure (Extension)

March 20, 2020, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands: The Cayman Islands National Museum has extended the closure of the National Museum Admissions and Shop until further notice, while we monitor the local emergence of COVID-19 (‘Coronavirus’) in the Cayman Islands. As previously advised, until given the all clear, the Museum has suspended group activities: including our Tours, Speaker ’s Series, Looky Ya! Events, public festivals & gatherings, attendance at community events & meetings, and off-site visits.

Museum Staff continue to focus on our Operations, Administration, and Curatorial roles. Please visit our website to see postings about the Museum and our Collections.

We dearly value our Museum Members, Visitors, and Staff, and will keep you abreast of Museum news through email and social media in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, we are monitoring, assessing, and adjusting our responses accordingly – with guidance and recommendations from the Cayman Islands Government (’CIG’), Health Service Authority (’HSA’) and Hazard Management Cayman Islands (’HMCI’).

Be Safe & Thank You for your vital support of the Cayman Islands National Museum!
