Sunrise Centre Christmas Play

Full House for Cayman Islands’ Sunrise Centre Christmas Play

Sunrise Adult Training Centre had a full house for its annual Christmas play on Wednesday (7 December 2016).

This year’s production was “The Innkeeper’s Dilemma”, which was set at the fictional Bethlehem Bed & Breakfast.

There were 28 Sunrise clients taking part in the play, while all of the Sunrise Centre staff were involved in roles including director, musical director, stage managers, ushers and assisting the actors on and off stage as well as having a few lines of their own.

Carols were sprinkled through the production, with the audience invited to sing along with the cast.
“It was a great night, the production went really well and everybody enjoyed themselves,” said Acting Director of the Sunrise Centre, Kimberly Voaden.

A variety of crafts were on sale at the John Gray Memorial Church West Bay, where the play was held, with the proceeds going towards programmes at the Sunrise Centre.
