From CUC

CUC customers across Grand Cayman experienced a blackout starting at 10:54 pm on November 26th.

The outage was the result of a fault on our Transmission and Distribution (T&D) system.

All power was restored by 5:17 am. CUC’s crews have been working as quickly as possible to restore power to all customers in a safe manner.

CUC sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience caused to customers affected by this outage.
