Cayman Islands Seventh Day Adventist Church announces Cayman Islands Conference 2015

CONFERENCE ANNUAL MEETING

The Cayman Islands Conference of Seventh-day Adventists announces that it will be holding its Annual Conference Meeting, to report to the constituency on the progress of the work during 2014. This meeting will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the George Town Church at 9:00 am. Each church will be sending delegates to represent the congregation. This is in compliance with the C.I.C. Constitution and Bylaws.

TEN DAYS OF PRAYER

The Cayman Islands Conference is inviting all church members in its territory to join the rest of the Adventist Church family around the world for ten days of prayer.   January 7 – 17, 2015 join us at one of the four zones on Grand Cayman from 5:00 am – 6:00 am each day. Plan to be at the location of your choice: B.T. Church, Savannah, George Town or W.B. Chapel. Join us each morning for one hour of prayer; we are furthermore inviting the rest of families and individual who cannot make it to the centers, to join us wherever you are at 5:00 am for the hour of prayer.   This is part of our spiritual preparation to carry out God’s mission in 2015.

CAMP MEETING 2015

The Cayman Islands Conference is cordially inviting all members and friends to our annual Camp meeting to be held January 7 – 10, 2015 at the Kings Adventist Church, next to Cayman Academy off Walkers road.   Come, listen to inspirational messages to warm your heart, as Evangelist Keith Morris from the Greater New York Conference, expound the word of God under the theme “Vessel of Honor”. All are welcome.

PASTORS AND CHURCH ELDERS MEETING

The Conference Administrators are hereby inviting all pastors and elected church elders for 2015 to an important summit to be held at Cayman Academy auditorium on Sabbath January 3rd at 4:00 pm. Important issues will be dealt with to help enrich your leadership in 2015 and beyond. Make an effort to be there!

PASTORAL CHANGES FOR 2015

The Cayman Islands Conference Administration announces that the Conference Committee voted in favor to make the following pastoral changes for 2015.   These changes will be effective as of January 1.   The following pastors will be installed officially in the following churches on Sabbath, January 3:

Pastor Jeff Jefferson –Maranatha Church

Pastor Wesley Nyack –Bethany church

Pastor Caple Thompson – Ebenezer and Newlands Churches

Pastor Vaughan Henry – East End & Ephesus Churches

Pastor Reinaldo Dracket –West Bay Church
