SYNOPSIS

Scattered showers along with light easterly winds and slight seas will continue across the Cayman area for the next 24 hours in association with an upper level low pressure system over central Cuba. Further east, tropical wave over Jamaica will move into the Cayman area this evening supporting additional showers. Radar images show scattered showers in and around the Cayman area moving towards the north to northwest. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida is issuing advisories on Tropical Depression Seventeen and Tropical Depression Eighteen. Both Depressions are located in the central and eastern Atlantic Ocean and poses no threat to the Cayman Islands. For further details please visit www.nhc.noaa.gov.
