SYNOPSIS

A tropical wave located across Jamaica is expected to drift across the western Caribbean continuing the chance of some showers during the next 24 hours. Thereafter, a gradual decrease in cloud coverage and showers are expected as fresh winds and Saharan dust spread across our area. Radar imagery shows numerous showers with isolated thunderstorms in and around the Cayman area moving towards the west-northwest.

Day: Partly cloudy this morning, then becoming cloudy during the afternoon. Winds E at 10 to 20 mph.

Night: Mostly cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy after midnight. Winds ENE at 10 to 20mph.

Chance of rain: 25%.

Sea: Moderate to rough with a wave height of 4 to 6 feet. Small craft should exercise caution over open water.

Humidity: 66%

UV:11 EXTREME (Same as yesterday). Daily Max at 11 AM
