SYNOPSIS

Intermittent showers are likely throughout the next 24 hours as feeder bands associated with Hurricane Melissa linger close by with fresh to strong winds expected as the pressure gradient remains tightened across the northwest Caribbean. The small craft alert is in effect with an upgrade to a marine watch by this evening as rough seas are expected to build across the Cayman area.
