SYNOPSIS

Cloudiness and showers associated with a very active tropical wave just east of Jamaica are expected to spread into the Cayman area within the next 24 hours as the system gradually drifts westward. As a result, the Cayman area can expect an increased chance of cloudiness and showers, accompanied by light northerly winds and slight seas.

Day: WU/TWC forecast: A mix of clouds and sun. Winds ENE 5-10 mph.

Night:  WU/TWC forecast:  A few clouds. Winds NE 5-10 mph.
