SYNOPSIS

A weakening upper-level trough located across the Cayman area will continue to support the chance for some showers at times through the next 24 hours. Fresh and gusty winds at times are likely to persist through the next few days as the pressure gradient continues to tighten. As a result of these winds, a small craft advisory will be in effect with some swells possible along southern and eastern coasts.

Day: WU/TWC forecast:   Isolated thunderstorms during the morning hours, then skies turning partly cloudy during the afternoon . Winds ENE at 15 – 25 mph.

Night:  WU/TWC forecast:  Rain showers this evening with clearing overnight. Winds NE 15 – 25 mph.

Chance of rain: 40%.

Sea: Moderate to rough with a wave height of 4 to 6 feet.
Small craft should exercise caution over open water.
