A few isolated showers are possible at times across the Cayman area today as a pre-frontal trough begins to develop across the region whilst drawing in moisture from the southern Caribbean ahead of an approaching front. From Tuesday morning, a significant uptick in shower activity is likely as the aforementioned front clashes with this trough, whilst being supported by a series of upper-level troughs. Numerous showers with scattered thunderstorms and periods of rain are all likely through Thu.
