Young Caymanians join Appleby (Cayman) Ltd.

Appleby RGBTwo young Caymanians join the Appleby Marketing Department

CAYMAN ISLANDS  – Appleby Cayman has added two young Caymanians to its staff roster, as of August 2015. Gemma McLaughlin and Ariana Seales have joined the business support group as Business Development Manager and Marketing Communications Executive, respectively.

“We are delighted to have Gemma and Ariana on board to provide us with a high calibre of business development and marketing support”, said Global Senior Business Development Manager, Claire Lloyd-Hickey. “We are confident that their experience will be of great benefit to our team at Appleby, and extend a warm welcome to them on behalf of all Partners and staff.”

Having worked at Walkers, RBC and most recently Ogier, Gemma brings extensive experience in business development, providing support to the Corporate Practice Group as well as Funds & Investment Team in strategic management. Gemma will play a critical role in assisting with client relationship management specific to revenue growth and Business Development activity for this sector.

Ariana has joined the Appleby Marketing team from CONCACAF, having previously worked at the Ministry of Finance in the area of Public Relations. She will be responsible for the smooth delivery of tactical and strategic business development and marketing campaigns. Ariana will also be working closely with Cayman Partners, fee earners, business development and internal clients to manage and develop a range of campaigns focused on promoting the image and reputation of the firm.

In addition to supporting the business, the Business Development and Marketing Department is responsible for promoting the firm’s scholarship and article clerk programme, as well as its annual charity day and community sponsorship programmes.
