World Hepatitis Day is this Friday, July 28, officially endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO). This day is celebrated every year in order to raise awareness of the global burden of viral hepatitis and to influence real change.

In accordance with World Hepatitis Day, Baptist Health South Florida team, part of Baptist Health International, is giving expert advice on the diagnosis and treatment of chronic Hepatitis C infection, a liver disease, from Dr. Neal Rakov, a Gastroenterologist at Baptist Health Medical Group.
