Caribbean Sprint Legend Kim Collins has been hit by yet another family tragedy. Collins younger brother was killed this morning (Dec 8) in an apparent hit and run accident .
Reports are that the 33 year old younger brother of the sprint icon Royston Collins was in the New Road area when a vehicle apparently struck him and drove off.
It took some time before Collins was discovered by a passer-by and a call made to the EMS. Before his demise Collins told medical officials that he was “run-over” by a vehicle.
This is the second tragedy to hit Collins in recent years. In 2013

In a brief post to social media the World’s Masters Sprint Record Holder Collins said “Life is short but death is long. you can live a long life and suffer a short death. May my brother please rest in peace.”
