Outdoor Adventures In Grand Cayman
Grand Cayman is a favorite amongst vacationers for its heavenly beaches and friendly atmosphere. If exploring a shipwreck at the bottom of the crisp sea or searching for authentic art is what gets you excited, you’re in for a treat. Whether you plan to spend your days nose-to-nose with the dolphins or lying on the sand, you will find every reason to stay.

George Town
George Town has dozens of boutiques and restaurants perfect for fashionistas and foodies. But its not all shops and food here, Georgetown also boasts five spectacular beaches for you to enjoy. Snokelers will love Georgetown harbor, which has some of the best. If this is your first time snorkeling, we recommended you check out Eden rock, only a few yards off shore.

Dolphin Cove
Another favorite in Grand Cayman is swimming with the dolphins at the fame Dolphin Cove. The highly trained staff will guide your swim with these loveable creatures and you’ll be able to enjoy them in a small group setting – Grand Cayman allows no more than ten people in each group. If you prefer to keep your distance, don’t worry, there’s plenty of room to watch from afar.

Bird-Sanctuary-smGovernor Michael Gore Bird Sanctuary
Nature lovers should head out to Governor Michael Gore Bird Sanctuary, which is home to over 60 species of birds and a lively fresh water habitat. Known by locals as “governor’s pond”, this gem is a great place to explore and stretch your legs. Even better, it’s open to the public free of charge.
Seven-Mile-Beach-smSeven Mile Beach
Guests of the Westin Grand Cayman are lucky enough to stay on Grand Cayman’s famous Seven Mile Beach. Beach bums will love to spend their days here lounging in the sun gazing at miles of sea and sand. Famous for beautiful shore as far as the eye can see, this unique beach is a definite can’t-miss.

After a day in the sun, it’s time to reserve a trip to Stingray City. This tour takes you to a world-class private snorkeling site where you can swim with friendly stingrays and tropical fish. Just 25 minutes form the shore, it’s a great spot for young and young-at-heart travelers alike. You can even get to kiss one of these gentle creatures for – as legend has it – seven years of good luck.

Spend some time exploring the rest of the island and ride a bike to Cayman Turtle Farm. Immediately you can sense the natural world surrounding you, noticing alligators, iguanas, and birds on the trail to the farm. Things only get more exciting from there. On the other side you can visit several pools and ponds home to many species of turtles, some of which have been around long enough to see the dinosaurs come and go. If you are lucky, you may even catch the hatching of the baby turtles and watch them take their first steps.
