Governor Carlos Mendoza Davis condemned the killings and said they are being investigated. “I condemn these acts and any expression of violence,” he said on Twitter.

Mexican authorities have found six bodies hanged on bridges in two municipalities in the state of Baja California Sur, in the northeast of the country.

The Attorney General of the State (PGJE) said in a statement that two bodies, both men, were left on a bridge on the road that leads to La Paz airport, the state capital.

The remaining four bodies, also men, were located on two bridges in the municipality of Los Cabos. The victims were taken to the forensic medical service to perform a necropsy. So far their identities are unknown.

In addition, next to the corpses hung messages withdrawn by the authorities present in the place, who did not reveal their contents.

Governor Carlos Mendoza Davis has condemned the killings and confirmed that they are being investigated. “I condemn these acts and any expression of violence,” he said on his Twitter account.

Last November, the president of the Human Rights Commission of this state, Silvestre de la Toba, was shot dead in an attack in which his son also died and his wife and daughter were seriously injured.
