Intertrust announces senior appointment in Private Wealth in Cayman Islands

George Town, Grand Cayman

Intertrust, a leading global provider of high-value corporate and fund services, announces the appointment of Sheena Thompson in the Cayman Islands.

Sheena will be responsible for leading the private wealth service line in Cayman, as the firm continues to strengthen their expertise and service offering in the Cayman private wealth market.

Sheena joins Intertrust from SMP Partners Caribbean (formerly RBC Wealth Management Caribbean) where she was Regional Head, Operational Risk Management, Caribbean. Her diverse career at RBC in Cayman spans 20 years of extensive experience in wealth management, trusts, compliance and operational risk management in Cayman and across the Caribbean. Prior to joining Royal Bank of Canada Trust Company in Cayman in 1997, Sheena worked at Coutts in Cayman.

Sheena is a Notary Public in and for the Cayman Islands, plays an active role in the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce (Leadership Cayman Programme) and has been consecutively named in the International Financial Centre (IFC) Power Women Top 200 List by City Wealth for the past four years.
