Ilmington Primary School pupils have their Olympics song played in Cayman Islands

PRIMARY school children who put their quiet Warwickshire village on the map by releasing a song are now having their single played on national radio – in the Cayman Islands.

Pupils at Ilmington Primary School recorded a song inspired by the Olympics, called Rings Around The World, which was such a success the children were invited to appear on Songs Of Praise, while magician Paul Daniels was so impressed he tweeted a link to his 41,000 followers.

A YouTube video of the song has been watched by people around the world.

And now a radio station in the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean, is playing the song.
