Blueberry and Mint Refreshment

Ingredients

150 grams blueberries

50 grams sugar

1/2 lemon

2 cinnamon sticks

6 mint leaves

750 milliliters sparkling water (cool, or soda)

ice (to taste)

Directions

  1. Place the blueberries and sugar in a small pan and bring to a boil until blueberries release juices and and syrup starts to thicken (about 5 minutes). Let cool.
  2. In a pitcher, mix the syrup, lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, mint leaves and sparkling water. Stir well, add ice cubes and serve well chilled.
  3. Note: For a sweeter flavor, replace sparkling water with soda.
