Cayman: YMCA brings Bingo Bells back

Last December the YMCA hosted its first bingo night, aptly called Bingo Bells in honour of the holiday season. A fundraiser for the Y, the event was so successful that the Y is bringing it back as part of its annual calendar of events.

Over 150 people took a break from the Christmas hustle and bustle to enjoy playing Bingo, winning fun prizes and dinner. This year the night of fun, fellowship and Bingo takes place on Friday,13 December from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Mary Miller Hall in Red Bay. Tickets include a serving of Grandma Judy’s famous spaghetti dinner and cost $10 per person or $25 for a group of three and are available for purchase at the Field of Dreams or the YMCA Main Office located at Chamber of Commerce.

All proceeds from Bingo Bells will benefit the Y’s various programmes, including teen leaders, after school and camp funding for those in need.

“The Christmas season is traditionally known as a time of giving. Bingo Bells is not only a fun night out and an opportunity to spend time with family and friends but a chance for attendees to show their own spirit of giving, knowing that they are helping the Y serve the Cayman community,” said Y CEO Greg Smith.
