From RCIPS: Jan 20 2017 12.27 am

Around 1:15AM Saturday morning, 28 January, officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery on Harbour Drive near Elmslie Memorial Church in central George Town. Two women were near their car in the parking lot of the church when two men approached them and demanded their valuables.  The women struggled with the men, during which one of them was punched.  The men left with jewellery, among other items.

Around 2:30AM that same morning a man, age 30 of Bodden Town, was arrested on suspicion of robbery as well as drug-related offences.  He was taken into police custody, and has been charged with Robbery, Handling Stolen Goods, and Possession of Ganja.  He will be in court Monday morning, 30 January.
