CORRECTED: Cayman Islands man charged with importation of cocaine, 17 November

The man, aged 32 of Bodden Town, who was arrested on 2 June with two Venezuelans and and one Colombian during a police operation was formally charged on Friday, 17 November with the following:
- Being Concerned in the Importation of Cocaine; and
- Conspiring to Import Controlled Drugs into Cayman.
He is appearing in court this morning, Monday, 20 November.
The man is employed as a Customs Officer with the Customs Department.
