From The Governor’s Office

The Governor’s Office has announced that Her Excellency the Governor Helen Kilpatrick will be extending her appointment in the Cayman Islands until March 2018. The extension was made at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for operational reasons.

The length of tenure of Governor’s is generally set at 3 or 4 years in line with other FCO appointments.  However tour lengths are routinely altered to suit operational requirements and officers’ availability.
