A minor fire was attended to by the Cayman Islands Fire Service at the cinema at Camana Bay this evening Thu 18th Jan at 7:30pm.

The fire was quickly contained and extinguished.

All the patrons were evacuated that included H.E. Governor Helen Kilpatrick.

There has been no report of any injuries.

An investigation into the cause is currently underway.
