Around 9:15PM last night, Sunday, 31 January, Police responded to a residence at Rock Hole Road in George Town where the occupants were detaining a person who had reportedly stolen cash from inside the property.

A 43-year-old man, of Bodden Town, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and is in custody at George Town Police Station.

At around 4:15PM on Friday, 29 January, the 9-1-1 Communication Centre alerted Police of a burglary-in-progress at a residence on Pond Road in George Town. A 42-year-old male, of George Town, was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with burglary.

He will appear before the court later today.

A man, age 21, of West Bay, was arrested on Birch Tree Hill Road in West Bay around 1AM Saturday morning, 30 January, as a result of a police stop check. The man has subsequently been charged with Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm and Ammunition. A hand gun and three rounds of ammunition were recovered.

The man will appear in court today.
