From RCIPS

Shortly after 12:30AM on Sunday, 2 December, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre received a report of an assault that had taken place on Pedro Castle Road, Bodden Town. It was reported that a man had been walking to his vehicle when he was approached by two other men, one of whom was known to him. The victim was punched in the face before being struck in the head with a wooden signpost and losing consciousness.  He was subsequently taken by private vehicle to the Cayman Islands Hospital to be treated for injuries including a broken bone and a concussion, and later discharged.

The incident is currently under police investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information is asked to contact Bodden Town CID at 947-2220.
