Cayman Brac: Government Children & Family Services staff honoured

Annie Rose Scott receives award for 28 years of service The recipients of the DCFS long service awards with Minister Bodden and Dep PremierBrac DCFS Staff Thanked for Long Service

Staff members of the Department of Children and Family Services in Cayman Brac were recognised on Friday, 29 January 2016 for their long service as government employees.

Minister of Community Affairs, Youth and Sports, Hon. Osbourne Bodden accompanied by the Ministry Chief Officer, Ms. Dorine Whittaker, presented the awards to the 17 employees at the Aston Rutty Civic Centre.

“In 2015, staff members in Grand Cayman were presented with their long service awards so the Department of Children and Family Services was happy to use this visit as an opportunity to award the dedicated staff of Cayman Brac,” said Minister Bodden.

Annie-Rose Scott topped the list with 28 years of service as a Community Development Officer.

The 15 remaining serving employees work at the Kirkconnell Community Care Centre as Community Care Workers.

Together the group has served 329 years as government employees.
