A ‘Heart to Heart’ Cayman Islands Christmas thanks to Celebrations Ltd

Eager Christmas shoppers are encouraged to further embrace the spirit of giving this holiday season and donate towards the Cayman Heart Fund (CHF) when visiting the Celebrations Christmas Wonderland Store during the month of December. For every donation made in-store, Celebrations Ltd will match respective donation to help raise funds to prevent and reduce early deaths, long-term disabilities and widespread suffering that heart and circulatory diseases may cause.

Celebrating 25 years of business, Celebrations Ltd Owner Joanne Brown explains “charity giving throughout the season is a great way to not only warm the hearts of those in need but also the hearts of our customers and staff by providing a platform to be able to support such a worthy initiative.” Brown added “Too often, the only sign of heart disease is sudden death. In addition to raising funds towards CHF, our team hopes to educate and influence the public to adapt healthier lifestyles throughout every season.”

David Dinner, Chairman of the Cayman Heart Fund commented “Christmas is a time for fun and laughter with friends and family. We are so fortunate to have a supporter like Ms. Joanne Brown, her team at Celebrations Ltd and certainly all their customers for supporting our mission to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease in the Cayman Islands.”

The Cayman Heart Fund (CHF) is a non-profit, non-government organization dedicated to the reduction of heart and circulatory disease in the Cayman Islands. Heart and circulatory disease, known as cardiovascular disease (CVD), is the number one health problem in the Cayman Islands.

Donations may be made at Celebrations Ltd, now located at 64 Kingbird Drive, immediately following the main office of Caribbean Utilities Company (CUC) Ltd and before arriving at the George Town Yacht Club. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
